It is hereby communicated that, due to the red weather alert for hydraulic risk in the provinces of Florence, Prato, Pistoia, and Pisa issued by the Civil Protection, the Municipality of Florence has decided to temporarily close the Florentine Civic Museums and Palazzo Medici Riccardi as a precautionary measure.
The Museo di Palazzo Vecchio, Museo Novecento, Cappella Brancacci, Museo Stefano Bardini, Fondazione Stefano Romano, the Santa Maria Novella Complex, and MAD Murate Art District will remain closed until 2:00 PM tomorrow. All activities, visits, and workshops organized by MUS.E are canceled. Any updates will be communicated.
Due to the consequent closure of the museums, including the SMN Museum, the closure of the SMN Info Point has also been arranged.
