  • How long does an activity last?
    The average duration of every activity is of almost one hour for children, an hour and fifteen minutes for adults.
  •  When does the ticket office close?
    The ticket office closes one hour before the closing of the museum.
  •  Does the activity always involve an operator?
    Yes, every activity, guided visit or workshop, is carried out by an operator.
  •  Do I have to pay in advance?
    The activity must be paid in the day in which it takes place, in cash, at the ticket office.
  •  Do teachers pay?
    Teachers with their classes do not pay their tickets while they pay if they are on their own without the class.
  •  Is there a wardrobe service in Palazzo Vecchio?
    Visitors must leave in the wardrobe the following items: umbrellas, big backpacks, voluminous bags. The service is free of charge. Students must leave their backpacks.
  •  Are all activities accessible to people with motor disabilities?
    People with motor disabilities can enter the Museum through the lateral entrance in Via dei Gondi. The two main museum floors are accessible with lift while there are architectural features that deny the access to the floor of the Mezzanino (where the theatre laboratories take place), to the Arnolfo Tower and to some areas that are part of the Percorsi Segreti, as the Fourteenth-century stairway of the Duca Gualtieri and the trusses over the Salone del Cinquecento. Wheelchairs are available at the ticket office.
  •  How far is Palazzo Vecchio from the Brancacci Chapel?
    It is a little more than one kilometre far, fifteen minutes by walk.
